Maintaining a safe and secure environment
Conduct searches, monitor inmate activities, and maintain a structured, secure environment.

Resolving conflicts with confidence
Use communication and problem-solving skills to defuse tense situations and maintain order.
Supporting and guiding inmates
Encourage positive behaviour, support rehabilitation programs, and help inmates develop the skills they need to reintegrate into society.
Responding to critical situations
Act decisively in medical emergencies and security incidents to ensure the safety of staff, inmates, and the community.

- Earn a competitive hourly rate starting at $28 per hour (Correctional Officer Level 1), increasing to $31 per hour (Level 3).
