You will play a pivotal role in supporting the safe and successful reintegration of prisoners back into the community.
You will be working as part of the Reintegration Hub team based at Auckland South Corrections Facility (ASCF). You’ll contribute to an environment that supports positive outcomes for individuals preparing for release, while engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.

As a Reintegration Hub Coordinator, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing the Reintegration Package initiative, including processing birth certificates, Kiwi Access Card applications, and assisting with bank account openings
  • Coordinating pre-release processes and addressing release day issues for prisoners and their whanau
  • Supporting administrative tasks related to Release to Work, liaising with external stakeholders and internal teams
  • Organising GPS tracking setup in Corrections databases
  • Participating in weekly pre-release meetings with Corrections staff and Case Managers
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners to support effective reintegration outcomes

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Qualification in Psychology. Criminology, Social Work, or any tertiary qualifications
  • A background in the justice sector or experience working with Māori and Pasifika communities
  • Previous experience in community engagement, key stakeholder liaison, or working with special interest groups
  • Proven administrative skills with strong attention to detail and experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A full NZ Driver’s Licence and ability to obtain relevant security clearances
