We’re looking for an engaging and relationship-driven Regional Manager to help improve the quality of service delivery across t the Australian Defence Force health centre network. As Regional Manager, you will be overseeing a remote workforce who work across several Australian Defence Force Health Centres. In this critical role, you’ll lead a small team and focus on building high-impact relationships with key external and internal stakeholders. You’ll guide and support Operations Coordinators, strengthen team culture, and help drive performance and compliance across your region. This is an exciting opportunity to shape meaningful outcomes while making a real difference in health service delivery.

As a Regional Manager in the Defence business unit, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with Australian Defence Force and Bupa stakeholders.
  • Leading and mentoring Operations Coordinators to support team engagement.
  • Participating in service improvement and performance optimisation initiatives.
  • Driving culture-focused activities across regional teams.
  • Maintaining compliance in rosters, operations, and clinical practices.
  • Supporting key outcomes through responsive and proactive leadership.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Previous experience in client-facing or stakeholder-led roles, ideally in health or defence.
  • Experience managing people and team performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong judgement, autonomy, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in healthcare, defence, or complex administrative environments.
