We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Linen Assistant to join our Linen Services team at Fiona Stanley Hospital. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a safe and uninterrupted linen supply that supports high-quality patient care across the hospital.
As a Linen Assistant in the Linen Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
- Delivering and collecting clean and soiled linen across hospital wards and units
- Monitoring stock levels and responding to linen requests efficiently
- Reporting stock volumes, usage trends, and linen quality
- Maintaining safe segregation and collection of used linen for contractors
- Supporting linen audits, quality improvement, and emergency stock readiness
- Building positive relationships with hospital staff and contractors

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting (desirable)
- Understanding of infection control and OH&S practices
- Ability to build respectful relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Up-to-date vaccinations and a clear National Police Check
